Jared and I categorize our kids behavior by which family they are acting like. If they are being neat and tidy they are a Jensen. Any other behavior is an Anderson.
Though we are told our kids look just like me, they both are not "Andersons". Josh is so much like Jared. Jacobb he is VERY fussy about details, but is not the tidiest, which is alot like me. Joshy on the other hand could care less about the details, but he likes his stuff "neat and tidy". He has been known not to let kids play in his room because "they would mess it up". We volunteered at the book fair last night and Josh was walking around helping me tidy up the books. He is also known to just grab a towel and start washing the windows. He also keeps his bathroom clean and gets very mad when Jacobb spits his toothpaste in his sink.
Jacobb's life, however, revolves around playing with his friends and he rushes through anything that may prohibit him from playing.
Well yesterday, the boys were playing pool. Once they were done Jacobb went outside to play. So Josh comes upstairs and says, "Jacobb didnt even help me clean up". I said "he didn't?. "Well then he can't play pool if he can't clean up afterwards". So Joshy in all his glory runs to tell Jacobb he cant play pool. So Jacobb comes in and asks me about it. I tell him "if he cant help clean up when they are done playing, then he cant play pool". Jacobb says "I helped clean up! I put the pool sticks away and all the balls in the pockets. The only thing Josh had to do was put the cover on!" and Joshy says "no! I had to brush the table first!". Joshy is soooooooooo a Jensen.
Also, Josh could probably kick your butt at pool. He runs that table.
P.S. ~ Just a quick note to mention that we are not being harsh or mean to either family when we categorize their behavior by that certain family.

It's a rare occasion when I can get my kids to clean up without a fight. Thank your lucky stars they are "Jensen Boys."
