He's 6!

Josh had a great birthday. Thanks to everyone that came!

who needs a sledding hill?

When your Daddy can pull around the neighborhood behind his 4-wheeler.

he's gonna be hunter like his Daddy

These are the boys before school one day. This is a rare occasion where they actually have time to relax without me yelling at them to hurry up because we are late!!

I about died when I saw Josh seriously reading this magazine while Jacobb played the computer...

Let it Snow, Let is snow

We have a park about 4 houses down that the kids can go sledding at. It was very nice that they didnt have to be driven anywhere AND I didnt have to go out in the snow! Most of these pictures were taken from our patio with my camera zoomed out as far as it would go.

Its a Countdown.

Every year my boys make these countdown rings and hang them on the tree. They usually only remember to rip one off for the first 2 days or so. After that they are always trying to figure out how many days they missed.

I love the concentration...

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. I was a little nervous as we were cooking a turkey, with a new recipe (we brined it), for 24 hungry people. The turkey turned out okay. Unfortunately, I forgot to take during and after photos but this was our house - clean before the storm!
Most of the carpet in our house was covered with plastic.

We borrowed the tables and chairs from Dylans church. Thanks! They made our dinner a succes.

you can come to my party ~ if you pokemon

Josh and Jake are way into Pokemon these days. Joshy is thinking of who to invite to his birthday party coming up and this is how he determines ifyou are invited:

"oh, little Johnny, I want to invite him! He has this really super powerful Pokemon card. He is pretty cool".

then poor Sammy:

"I am not inviting Sammy. He doesnt even like Pokemon! He likes Yu-Gi-Oh."

Josh is deciding who to invite by your rank and liking of Pokemon cards.......

finally Halloween!

We had a great halloween.

art class

I get all mushy and sentimental and want to bottle stuff like this up when I see the boys being so cute. They are having art class, Jacobb is the teacher and the have set up this cute little classroom.

they are drawing pictures of aliens. s.

Evie Lou ~

Evie just turned one years old! Happy Birthday Evie. This picture is from Lisa's party. Though a bit blurry, I thought this picture was wayyyyy cute.

the pumpkin patch

I am about a month behind on the whole picture / blogging thing...below are pictures from a local pumpkin patch. We then went to Brian and Lisa's for a fun little halloween party.

what is up with Josh's red moustache in every picture?!
Jacobb has the perfect picture pose.
This picture of the family is pretty cute.
This is Lisa's fun party. The kids were decorating cupcakes.
Oh my gosh. they are so adorable. (Even from behind!)
Ty thinks this is pretty cool.
the next 3 pictures are so funny. Evie gets put in
the wheelbarrow and its not so bad.... until she looks around......
Once she realizes she is surrounded by all the boys,
she doesn't like it so............. she cries. My favorite
thing is Ty looking around like is she crying because I didnt
do anything.

and I continue to snap pictures as Evie is screaming her brains out.

the calm before the storm

In my previous post I mentioned Josh was playing catch with his beloved Utah football and it was run over. Below are pictures of Josh playing catch with his ball - before tragedy struck.
