Love is in the air....!

My sweet husband gets home from work last NIGHT at 7:30, which is VERY late for Jared. The traffic is terrible he tells me.

I get to work this morning, to my office covered with rose petals all over my floor, all over my desk and my chair. They are colorful. I had pink, and red, and orange with yellow and yellow. They were beautiful and my office smelled sooo good! I also a dozen red roses in the middle of it all.

It was such a great surprise!

P.S. due to the snow, it took him 2 hours and 15 minutes to get here. NOW THAT IS LOVE. :)

These are the boys before school one day. This is a rare occasion where they actually have time to relax without me yelling at them to hurry up because we are late!!

I about died when I saw Josh seriously reading this magazine while Jacobb played the computer...

Let it Snow, Let is snow

We have a park about 4 houses down that the kids can go sledding at. It was very nice that they didnt have to be driven anywhere AND I didnt have to go out in the snow! Most of these pictures were taken from our patio with my camera zoomed out as far as it would go.

Its a Countdown.

Every year my boys make these countdown rings and hang them on the tree. They usually only remember to rip one off for the first 2 days or so. After that they are always trying to figure out how many days they missed.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. I was a little nervous as we were cooking a turkey, with a new recipe (we brined it), for 24 hungry people. The turkey turned out okay. Unfortunately, I forgot to take during and after photos but this was our house - clean before the storm!
Most of the carpet in our house was covered with plastic.

We borrowed the tables and chairs from Dylans church. Thanks! They made our dinner a succes.
